EDC Team Jefferson came to me with a goal to launch a new community and membership platform. I led the small but mighty team in a series of ten workshops to understand their target audience, content, and community strategy in addition to the technical solutions and systems they would need to launch and maintain their community and membership sales.
I quickly identified that they had no backend system to support selling products or services of any kind, and decided they needed to launch an entire e-commerce marketplace in order to engage with clients and deliverable a valuable experience to convert free clients to paid members.
I decided the solution was to use Podia, an easy plug and play CMS + Community platform, in addition to migrating the organization’s entire marketing website to the same platform for an integrated website, CRM, email marketing, and community management experience. This empowers the team to make their own content changes, launch new products and services, send marketing emails, and stay engaged with their actively growing community.
