📍 MARROWSTONE ISLAND, WASHINGTON, USA

An old garage was remodeled and updated as a mother-in law suite and perfect Airbnb. Located just across the water from Port Townsend, beautiful and serene Marrowstone Island is a great kicking off point for any Olympic Peninsula adventure. I designed the space and thrifted all materials from the area including the local marine thrift shop. Vintage nautical maps—that were actually charted by past sailors—were wallpapered by hand. This property was sold and is no longer offered on Airbnb, but it was a pure gem while it lasted.

Fun fact: The 100 year old Nordland General Store is also located on Marrowstone Island which I helped raise funding for to reopen and they later became a client!
